CVUK – Interview Outfit Of The Month

Thinking about what to wear to an interview in the new year might be the last of your worries,

but before we know it 2013 is going to be knocking on our doors and life will return to normal. Here at CVUK we know many people lined up for January interviews, all asking what would be the best thing to wear. We thought we’d take this chance to put together the last ‘Interview Outfit Of The Month‘ to inspire some thought when rummaging through the Boxing Day sales. Remember, it’s not always necessary to dress head to toe in a suit so weigh up what’s right for the company you’re interviewing with.

MangoFaux Far Jacket by Mango – £79.99

Sitting in an interview in a coat is not a good look, but appearance is just as important when arriving and introducing yourself. Turning up in a scruffy coat leaves a bad impression, regardless of how well presented you are underneath. This faux-fur jacket is the perfect cover-up to make the first impression.

TopshopPatterned Dress by Topshop Boutique – £95.00

This dress breaks the ‘black & blue’ style rules but we love it. Add gold jewellery to liven up the look for a stylishly professional look.

Style PicksKnee-high Boots at Stylepicks.com – £50.00

Not every interview outfit needs to include a pair of simple black courts. Try something new by adding smart boots to a skirt or dress.

Kate SpadeClock Pendant Necklace by Kate Spade – £48.00

Layer gold necklaces of a simple dress to keep an outfit current. We can’t wait to get our hands on this clock pendant from Kate Spade.
