Here at CVUK we were excited to see young emerging talent and last week we went to show our support at Graduate fashion week.
Graduate fashion week, A showcase of more than 1000 Ba fashion graduates from over 50 universities around the world. The young talent fell nothing short of expectations with energetic prints, exaggerated garment shapes, beautifully manipulated fabric and of course not forgetting a touch of Neon…

In its 22nd year the event aims to continue its legacy of introducing new talent into the fashion workforce, industry giants such as Stella McCartney and Christopher Baily to name a few started their journeys here. This year’s graduates received interview tips, portfolio reviews and advice on how to write a business plan. Online recruiters Drapers Jobs played their part by giving graduates a chance to see all of the options that are available – with disciplines outside of design such as marketing, media, buying and Merchandising.
Not only were there job workshops but for the final day Pigeons & Peacocks magazine hosted a live photo shoot in a pop up studio, exhibiting the international garment collections and showcasing the talent from the photography and styling students from London college of fashion.
