Product Developer – Leicester.

This successful supplier to the UK high street is looking for a experienced Product Developer to join their growing team.

This is an exciting role which will include working with UK & off shore design and product development teams, developing new blocks, attending customer fit sessions and garment design.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in relevant design / product development roles at an established UK Supplier or Retailer AND relevant product technologist experience.

Or

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in relevant product technologist roles at an established UK Supplier or Retailer AND relevant design / product development experience.
• Ideally currently working in a relevant Design / Product Developer role.
• Experience working with overseas suppliers.

Skills

• Experience in variety of product categories is ideal across Baby, Kids and/or Adultwear.
• In-depth understanding of garment construction and experience of the full fit process.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Competent user of Adobe and other design-related software.
• 3D design experience welcome but not essential.
• Understanding of all relevant UK garment and testing requirements and legislation.
