Buyer – Luxury Retail.

Our client, an established retail organization is seeking a category Buyer spanning a luxury and contemporary brand mix.

As the Buyer you will be responsible for developing seasonal strategies, curating product selection, performance analysis and managing other buying functions.

The Buyer role will collaborate closely with internal teams, negotiate terms with brand partners and ensure the timely delivery of all merchandise.

Duties will include

Conduct thorough market research to identify popular brands, emerging trends and consumer preferences.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and  exclusive partnerships

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, sales and operations

Curate a product assortment that aligns with the customer, brand identity and market demand

Analyse sales performance to identify trading actions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience at Buyer level or above
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, sales reports and financial metrics.
• Excellent communication skills
