Job Title: Assistant Store Manager – Premium/Luxury French Brand

Location: Central London

As they continue to expand their  presence in Central London, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join the team.

Job Description:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store in Central London. You will uphold the brand’s standards of excellence and ensure that every customer receives impeccable service while fostering a culture of passion and dedication among the store team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Experience:
    • Deliver a superior level of service to every customer, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized interactions and exceptional product knowledge.
    • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  2. Sales and Performance:
    • Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs, driving revenue and maximizing profitability.
    • Lead by example in demonstrating effective selling techniques and product knowledge to drive sales.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance results.
  3. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
    • Coordinate with the Store Manager to ensure proper staffing levels and scheduling to meet business needs.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service standards.
  4. Operations Management:
    • Oversee store operations and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandise display, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
    • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify operational efficiencies and implement process improvements.
  5. Brand Representation:
    • Uphold the brand’s image and reputation through impeccable personal presentation and adherence to brand guidelines.
    • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the values and ethos of the company in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the  retail sector, preferably with a focus on premium French brands, (not essential)
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated understanding of luxury retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
