Job Description:
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store in Central London. You will uphold the brand’s standards of excellence and ensure that every customer receives impeccable service while fostering a culture of passion and dedication among the store team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience:
- Deliver a superior level of service to every customer, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized interactions and exceptional product knowledge.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Sales and Performance:
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs, driving revenue and maximizing profitability.
- Lead by example in demonstrating effective selling techniques and product knowledge to drive sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance results.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager to ensure proper staffing levels and scheduling to meet business needs.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service standards.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee store operations and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandise display, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify operational efficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Brand Representation:
- Uphold the brand’s image and reputation through impeccable personal presentation and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the values and ethos of the company in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the retail sector, preferably with a focus on premium French brands, (not essential)
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated understanding of luxury retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
