Womenswear Wholesale Manager.

Reference: SM WM

We are currently looking for a Wholesale Manager to join  a London-based womenswear apparel manufacturer. You will develop, plan and implement the company’s sales strategies and attract new clients for their brands. As Wholesale Manager, you will play a key role in increasing brand-awareness and revenue. This will include managing and negotiating with existing, as well as new, clients. This is a great opportunity to join a small, yet fast-growing team, that share a combined passion to be humble, inquisitive and hardworking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies and models for brands and executing
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current sales strategies’
  • Follow up on new business leads and build long lasting client relations
  • Lead wholesale appointments both digitally and in person
  • Attend exhibitions and other trade shows
  • Ensure each retailers terms are negotiated as best as possible to ensure each brand is protected in terms of sell through guarantees and trade discounts
  • Identify commercial opportunities, build and maintain key relations and monitor competitors
  • Raise wholesale orders and support with administration duties i.e. critical path, Zedonk/Shopify upload.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within fashion/wholesale industry, with a particular focus on Womenswear apparel
  • It would be advantageous if you have previous experience also in Menswear and non-clothing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven sales experience and a track record of achieving targets and strategies
  • Experience using Shopify and Zedonk would be highly beneficial, and competency using excel is key
  • You must be independent with the ability to manage your own schedule, diary and travel
  • Second language would be beneficial but not essential
