Supply Planner.

Overview

We are seeking a Supply Planner to join our team and play a leading role in driving sales and profit through the optimization of product availability for our international accounts. As a Supply Planner, you will be the key link between the Sales team, our supply base, and the nominated freight forwarders, ensuring that international trade orders are seamlessly managed to arrive at the required countries on time in an efficient and visible way.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Merchandising and Sales teams in creating an international product strategy based on historical analysis and current customer requirements
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate product information including trade price lists for all customers
  • Work closely with the Sales team to assess potential orders and determine the best course of action to secure stock for international accounts
  • Assist in the creation of trading reports and availability checks for international
  • Maintain up-to-date production trackers and assist in the maintenance of an accurate range line detail for international
  • Raise the requirements in our main system and invoice the goods to the trade customer when SOR orders are due for completion
  • Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers
  • Create and check commercial invoices for payment
  • Produce a weekly stock report, communicating current stock levels and future inbounds

Qualifications & Skills

  • A degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in supply chain, freight management, or merchandising, minimum 3 years
  • Basic understanding of Customs and Excise
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated

Day-to-day

As a Supply Planner, you will work closely with the Merchandising, Buying, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure clear guidelines and rules of engagement are in place, to resolve any issues, and identify areas of opportunity. You will also collaborate with all teams to ensure the smooth execution of merchandising plans.
