Senior Category Manager.Reference: 69145
We are working with a global commerce leader, adn we currently have an opportunity for Category Manager to join the FMCG team, to lead the strategy for frequently bought inventory. This will involve working with UK based brands and resellers of frequently bought items to maintain their growth on the marketplace as well as growing our Cross Border import channel with UK buyers. This is a key focus area to enable the growth of our UK business.
We would love to hear from you if you have a strong background in ecommerce with an ability to grow large existing customers as well as scaling new business, having led e-commerce commercial teams and consistently delivered strategies effectively even under challenging circumstances.
eCommerce & marketplaces knowledge: experience as an ecommerce Category Manager with an understanding of the marketplaces/platform market, its competitors and supporting businesses, with a clear point of view on what is required for our partners to succeed in this space
Relationship management: ability to build and sustain relationships across all functions and levels internally in the organisation, to ensure flawless integration and detailed execution of plans. The ability to apply influencing and negotiation skills with external businesses to build and maintain mutually beneficial commercial relations – with a deep understanding of brand, seller & partner needs, challenges and opportunities for growth
Strategic & analytical orientation: a keen strategic and analytical problem solver with the knack of sifting through detail, and putting complex ideas into clear frameworks. Insists on proof in data, peeling back layers to understand root causes, and uses data to drive innovation and decisions.
