Production Merchandiser – Sportswear – Hertfordshire

Our client, a manufacturer of pro sportswear and team wear for sports clubs, is looking for a Production Merchandiser to join the team  at their Hertfordshire offices.

Key Responsibilities:
· Planning and scheduling production and book factories capacities
· Place Purchase Orders with factories
· Negotiating prices with suppliers and shipping companies
· Build strong relationships with key suppliers, leading weekly check in meetings and
overseeing production status reports.
· Hold meetings with sales team to update on status of all the
orders and deliveries, and to ensure launch dates are met
· Work closely with design and product developers to build the critical path and ensure key
dates are met
· Working together with the shipping company to arrange sea freight/airfreight

Ideal candidate:

· Experience in a similar role
· Ideally, experience in sportswear

· Good Excel abilities
