Product Development Garment Technologist.

I have an exciting job opportunity for a Product Development Garment Technologist with a leading workwear company. The role involves managing the product development and sampling process, ensuring that the clothes manufactured are fit for purpose and meet the needs of real people at work. The Garment Technologist will work closely with the design team, fabric and trims technologist, production managers, sales and account management, and pattern cutter. Responsibilities include developing technical specifications, liaising with pattern cutters and suppliers, checking and measuring samples, organizing fit sessions, managing the sample development process, building relationships with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of development samples. The role requires proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Suite, and strong digital and technical drawing skills. A degree in fashion/textile is preferred, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a garment technician or product development role is required.
