Operations Manager – Fragrance Brand – London

We’re seeking a highly organised and analytically driven Operations Manager to join a fast-growing, product-led business. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving operational excellence across demand planning, production, inventory management, and supplier coordination – ensuring products are delivered on time, in full, and in line with commercial objectives.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in strengthening operational foundations, improving stock integrity, and supporting sustainable, profitable growth.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Own and manage the full demand planning and forecasting cycle, ensuring alignment with sales and commercial targets
Lead end-to-end MRP and production cycle management, including BOM creation, purchase order management, works orders, and stock receipting
Develop and maintain robust stock control procedures to optimise SKU mix, reduce excess inventory, and improve cash flow
Oversee inventory accuracy across warehouse and system locations, ensuring strong controls and reporting integrity
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Product Development teams to ensure forecasting accuracy and smooth new product launches
Support seamless transition of new product introductions into live production, ensuring systems, schedules, and suppliers are aligned
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, improving communication, service levels, and cost control
Monitor KPIs including stock integrity, wastage, OOS risk, and OTIF performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to operational system enhancements and process improvements as the business scales
What You’ll Bring:
1-3 years’ experience in operations, production planning, supply chain, or demand planning within FMCG, manufacturing, or a product-led environment
Hands-on experience using MRP/ERP systems and creating Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Strong Excel and analytical capability, with confidence managing data and forecasting models
A structured, process-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple SKUs and production schedules simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence suppliers
Strong commercial awareness, understanding the relationship between stock, margin, and cash flow
Calm and solution-focused approach to managing production challenges and unexpected issues
Experience within fast-paced, high-growth environments is highly desirable
Professional supply chain qualification (e.g., CIPS) desirable but not essential
