Operations and Customer Service Manager.

We are currently looking for an Operations and Customer Service Manager to join a successful online retailer. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the operations and logistics department of an e-retailer, and the day-to-day management of the Operations and Customer Care Executive. The ideal candidate for this Operations and Customer Service Manager Role is an individual with logistical experience, who has strong organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Excel, have experience working with ordering systems, with an excellent eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with the factories in China, making sure all shipments are leaving on time and all the necessary documents are provided
- Monitoring stock currently available in the UK as well as forecasting stock
- Liaising with the accounts department to make sure that accounts and documents are kept up to date
- Ensuring all warehouse operations are running smoothly, and being in frequent contact with the warehouse manager
- Effectively invoicing customers and monitoring the status of invoices sent
- Using the ordering system and assisting the warehouse in using it
- Managing the Operations and Customer Care Executive
- Ensuring and delivering exceptional Customer Service. Acting as the point of contact for customers, upholding standards of quality in responding to and acting upon customer queries
