Merchandiser.

Our client is growing their Merchandising team and currently looking for an established (Retail) Merchandiser
The ideal Merchandiser will have experience of:
- Working in partnership with a Buyer, or multiple Buyers, to create seasonal departmental plan and strategy
- Range Planning by category, in partnership with Buying, and monitoring performance against category plans, highlighting and reacting to risks and opportunities in the department
- Presenting Sign off meetings, Lessons Learned and Strategy to Director level
- Developing a team at Assistant Merchandiser and MAA level
- Working across functions within a business, using their commerciality to drive the best product placement in catalogues and/or online.
The ideal candidate would possess the following:
- At least 5 years’ experience in merchandising functions – minimum 2 seasons creating your own budgets and plans
- Evidence of making a difference in evolving and growing businesses
- Ability to lead a team, work independently and to be able to work across a Business Unit, with other teams and at all levels
- Strategic thinking with agile commerciality
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
- Proven ability of planning and trading success
- Be able to demonstrate experience of managing growth areas and mitigating risk areas
- At least 2 years of management experience
- This role is office based
- This might suit a Senior Merchandiser to work only 4 days for the same salary
