We are looking for a Merchandiser to join a luxury, highly successful lighting, furniture and accessories company based in Winchester.
The role will include assisting the Merchandising Director to plan and trade company sales, stock and margin in line with company budget and strategy.
To assist/manage in all aspects of continual trade reporting, to include:– Creating and updating regular sales and stock reports by Dept/Category/sku by market and providing insight on findings.– Ad hoc analysis as and when required.
- To work with the Merchandising Director and Purchasing team to ensure pricing in all currencies is correct and up to date in all documents and Datafile
To review stock and inventory position for both the UK and US and make recommendations for Min Stock levels, order requirement and intake planning.
To work with the purchasing team to ensure purchase orders are placed in time and in line with demand forecasting to maintain availability levels in line with business requirements.
Provide analysis to help support the financial budgeting and forecasting process by dept/category and market.
Provides regular and relevant feedback regarding product/inventory issues and opportunities within the range to be used for future range development
To use appropriate IT systems and software packages to complete analysis and forecasting/planning as required, liaising with system providers as necessary
