Job Purpose Summary/ Overview –
The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring profitability through strategic team management, operational excellence, and an unparalleled luxury customer experience. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the luxury market.
Key Responsibilities & Activities –
Sales & Profitability:
- Drive store sales to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and implement strategic actions.
- Manage stock levels and liaise with Supply Chain & Operations team to optimize inventory and minimize losses.
- Monitor payroll and other operational budgets to maintain profitability.
Team Management & Development:
- Recruit, train, and develop a passionate, client-focused team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans.
- Motivate the team to achieve individual and collective goals while embodying the brand’s values.
- Foster a professional, feedback-oriented, and results-driven environment.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal floor coverage.
- Empower team members to embody and represent the values of the luxury brand.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Lead by example to deliver a world-class luxury experience tailored to high-value clients.
- Encourage and support the team in developing and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
- Continuously monitor and improve customer service standards using KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
Operational Excellence & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures, including opening, closing, and cash management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and luxurious store environment compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure accurate and secure cash handling and operational documentation.
- Safeguard the store’s integrity through effective loss prevention and security measures.
Visual Merchandising:
- Oversee the implementation of visual merchandising guidelines to reflect the luxury brand identity.
- Provide feedback to head office on local market trends and client preferences.
Brand Promotion:
- Consistently represent and communicate the brand’s values to customers, press, and the public.
- Organize and lead customer events in collaboration with head office to elevate the store’s profile and activities.
- Work closely with head office on the execution of promotions and public relations initiatives.
- Act as a brand ambassador during customer interactions and public events, building positive perceptions of the store and its offerings.

Qualifying Factors –
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in luxury retail management with proven success in sales and leadership.
- Education: Degree in business, retail management, or related field preferred.
- Languages: Proficiency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems, inventory management tools, and reporting software.
