The Opportunity:
We are partnering with a rapidly growing UK retailer looking for a highly capable Junior Merchandiser to join their commercial team. This is a strategic role supporting large-scale production across multiple factories in Sri Lanka and India. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and have a strong commercial eye, this is your chance to step into a role that’s critical to the business’s growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage costs, margins, and pricing across high-volume production.
- Act as a key liaison between design, production, and customer teams to keep projects on track.
- Take ownership of costings and multiple priorities under pressure.
- Support UK merchandising operations.
- Apply your knowledge of fabrics, colours, and production processes to drive decisions.
Who We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years’ experience in high-volume production merchandising – supermarket supplier or large-scale retail experience preferred.
- Exposure to factories producing millions of units annually in Sri Lanka or India is a strong advantage.
- Strong Excel, pricing, and commercial awareness skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
