Junior Garment Technologist.

This is a full-time Junior Garment Technologist role for a British menswear heritage brand. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of the garment fitting process and ensure products are aligned with the relevant Tech Pack.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with quality checks and measuring of samples against the Tech Pack upon receipt from suppliers. Check samples against the CAD to sense check styling and labelling.
• Assisting with the arrangement and management of fit sessions across menswear and womenswear.
• Collaborate with Production Assistant to chase outstanding samples from suppliers to ensure they arrive and are fitted in accordance with the critical path.
• Conduct random quality control checks at warehouse.
• Review product returns data across men’s and women’s products when the return levels are higher than normal. Work closely with the Technical Lead and Customer service team to establish root cause to help drive improvements.
• Work with the Technical Lead and the wider team on projects involving sizing and block reviews across all categories.
• Review and assess garment and fabric test reports.

Desired Skills:

• 1-2 years in a similar role, some knowledge of tailoring would be desirable.
• Experience in updating and managing Tech Packs.
• Knowledge of garment fitting and fitting issues is essential.
• Experience working directly with suppliers and factories, plus understanding the manufacturing process.
• Confident using Microsoft Office including Teams.
