Our client seek a highly skilled and strategic Head of SEO to lead their search engine optimization efforts and drive organic growth across all product categories.
The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader with a deep understanding of SEO best practices, a proven track record of success in e-commerce, and the ability to manage and inspire a team of SEO professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on increasing organic traffic, improving search engine rankings, and maximizing ROI.
- Conduct extensive keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization, new product categories, and market expansion.
- Oversee all aspects of on-page SEO, including meta tags, internal linking, and site architecture, as well as technical SEO, ensuring optimal site performance and crawlability.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize content that drives traffic and engagement, ensuring all content is SEO-friendly and aligned with the latest search trends.
- Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and improve search engine rankings.
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) to monitor performance, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Regularly report on SEO performance and make data-driven recommendations.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments to ensure the company remains competitive in the online marketplace.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of SEO experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within an e-commerce or multi-product retail environment.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, tools, and techniques, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
