Finance & Operations Manager – Melbourne 

On behalf of our client, a leading global brand we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the business and work alongside the Australian leadership team

This is an exciting opportunity that encompasses both Finance management and Operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders within the business and report to the General Manager. Team wise you will oversee around 8 staff; Finance Manager, Logistics, Business Analyst, IT etc.

Key accountabilities include;

• leading and managing the team to ensure profitable growth, asset protection and compliance
• ownership of annual budget and forecasting cycles
• oversee preparation of statutory reporting; financial statements, Income Tax Return, Fringe Benefit Tax Return, Pricing Documentation, Monthly BAS, Customs Declaration
• coaching and team development, lead training, build teamwork and a productive, involved culture
• prepare financial proposals for new store openings and liaise with legal and retail teams to manage Tenancy Agreements
• liaise with local and international headquarters

Requirements;

• Tertiary qualification on Accounting/ or Finance with appropriate CA or CPA qualification
• strong leadership experience, building and nurturing teams
• experience within a similar role; retail and/ or consumer goods experience
• effective communication skills, dealing with local and international stakeholder groups
• excellent business acumen, agile and able to work with pace

Salary on offer is $140k – $150k + super + bonus structure.
