Export Sales Manager – Premium Fashion Brands – UK/Italy/France/Spain

A global player in the premium fashion accessories space is looking for an Export Sales Manager to drive international growth across a portfolio of high-profile brands. This is a commercially focused role with responsibility for expanding distribution, increasing sell-out performance, and delivering profitable growth across export markets.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of key international markets, managing distributor and retail partnerships while driving both revenue and margin performance. You’ll also play a strategic role in leveraging flagship brands to unlock wider portfolio opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- Deliver sales and profit targets across export markets
- Manage and grow distributor, agent, and retail partnerships
- Lead regular business reviews, focusing on performance and growth opportunities
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts to maximise revenue and margin
- Develop joint business plans aligned to strategic objectives
Training & Partner Enablement
- Design and deliver impactful sales training for distributors and retail teams
- Create engaging product and brand presentations
- Drive sell-out through training on upselling, cross-selling, and customer engagement
- Provide ongoing coaching to strengthen brand representation in-market
Commercial Performance & Margin Management
- Monitor and optimise margin structures across markets
- Manage cost-to-serve, including logistics, promotions, and discounts
- Implement strategies to protect profitability while supporting growth
Sales Activation & Promotions
- Plan and execute market-specific promotional strategies
- Identify key sales drivers such as seasonal launches and collaborations
- Track and evaluate ROI on all promotional activity
Portfolio Growth
- Leverage leading brands to open new distribution channels
- Drive cross-selling opportunities across the wider brand portfolio
- Support expansion into premium and strategic retail environments
Forecasting & Market Insights
- Support demand forecasting and align with supply chain planning
- Gather market feedback to inform product development
- Monitor competitor activity and identify emerging opportunities
Reporting & Presentations
- Deliver high-impact presentations to partners and internal stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends
About You
- 5–7 years’ experience in international sales or export management within fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth and managing key accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation skills
- Confident presenter with experience delivering training and influencing stakeholders
- Highly analytical, with experience in forecasting and sales reporting tools
- Able to balance brand integrity with commercial performance
- International mindset with the ability to work across diverse markets
