We are looking for a dynamic and engaging individual to join our team The role involves executing the website merchandise strategy to deliver pre-defined KPI’s that maximize product sales and profitability of the ecommerce channel. The ideal candidate will work with multiple data sources to aid the creation of reporting and have a strong interpretation of trading results to constantly formulate activities that the wider ecommerce team can readily action against.
Responsibilities
- Build and populate reporting stream on sales, stock, profit key metrics and promotions in daily, weekly and monthly trade meetings.
- Continuously propose, evaluate and oversee trade actions to the digital channel to optimize short- and longer-term improvements to performance.
- Utilize website analytics to monitor KPI’s and enrich product performance data with relevant website behavior.
- Be a channel expert with detailed knowledge of product, trends, market and competitor tactics, with a focus throughout on customer.
- Work with B&M, content and marketing teams to ensure effective product campaign co-ordination.
- Provide accurate DC forecasts and inform them about any areas that can impact fulfillment capacity.
- Maintain stock availability to agreed levels across all product areas by working with merchandising teams to optimize/release/build online stocks to maximize retail sales & profit.
- Maintain Weekly Stock Sales and Intake forecasts (WSSI).
- Regularly review sales, margin and KPI’s to identify and understand the key drivers behind performance.
- Conduct detailed or deep dive ad-hoc analysis when required on specific categories/product groups.
- Manage poor performing lines by working with teams on stock levels and promotional mechanisms.
- Understand returns rates and investigate the reasons behind them, focusing on ways to reduce returns rates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in ecommerce trading or merchandising.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in website analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Collaborating with ecommerce, buying, marketing and fulfillment teams.
- Analyzing sales, stock, profit key metrics and promotions.
- Monitoring website analytics and KPI’s.
- Coordinating product campaigns with B&M, content and marketing teams.
- Providing accurate DC forecasts and maintaining stock availability.
