Childrenswear Designer

Our client is a hugely successful and established Garment manufacturing business based in London.

We are currently looking for an experienced, creative and commercial Childrenswear Designer to join the design team and take responsibility for creating commercial Boyswear & Girlswear (from toddler through to teen) collections.

In an ideal world you will have worked across Boyswear & Girlswear and will have the ability to partner with a number of High Street brands to create cohesive, trend driven, multi-product collections. Your handwriting will be inspirational and innovative.

You will be responsible for the development of styles, suggesting fabrics and trims whilst building and maintain your relationships with your Buyers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of designing fashion for this market, will understand garment construction and manufacturing techniques as well as the ability to manage the whole design and development process from trend research to sample development. Excellent hand drawing skills is essential
