This role would suit a Buyer looking for a new challenge in an exciting location or a Junior Buyer looking for the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Align the buying plan to the overall department business plan and the merchandise strategy
• Develop a highly commercial range to meet profit targets
• Pursue cost reduction measures
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate the best deals
• Place orders based on the buying plan and ensure delivery is achieved
• Identify and leverage alternate buying opportunities to source products
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in buying
• Gather information through trade shows/market visits

Requirements

• Graduate Degree / Qualification
• Minimum Experience 4 years in retail industry in buying
• Good Knowledge of Buying processes
• Good Knowledge of Retail brands
• Planning and organising skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Superb attention to detail
