Business Manager
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and determined Business Manager, a founder-lead fragrance distribution and Licensee business. As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for developing the business within one of our key UK trading doors,
Responsibilities
- Accountable for achieving sales goals
- Help develop and implement a business plan to achieve growth
- Analyze and record sales on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
- Foster brand and retailer relationships by aligning strategic initiatives
- Lead and execute strategic business planning with store management and C&S Commercial team
- Partner with Liberty on visual merchandising to ensure the brand is represented at the highest presentation level
- Manage all levels of inventory and stock issues including but not limited to reporting damages and testers, tracking inventory levels, and minimizing shrinkage
- Oversee and drive promotional activity planned for the account throughout the year
- Plan and execute impactful store events that meet brand standards
- Manage collateral and resources effectively including testers and samples
- Support brand education to drive sales
- Lead by the highest example in every capacity for the brand
- Possess knowledge of brand and products
- Network and gain the trust of potential customers and partners
- Build, maintain and lead positive rapport with in-store staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail management or operations roles with organizations with a high growth agenda
- Commercial acumen – demonstrated experience in driving business KPI’s, staff planning, inventory etc.
- Solid understanding of analysis and financial management
- Experience in managing a fast paced and dynamic workforce as well as performance management principals and procedures
- Proficiency with MS Office including Excel
- Admirable communication skills and the ability to problem solve, influence and create positive stakeholder relationships
- Deep affinity of our brand and aesthetics
- Demonstrated experience in leading/ managing discussions that center on performance improvement and/or performance management
- Strong written and verbal communication and language skills
- Ability to be flexible with retail trading hours
Day-to-day
You will need to be commercially aware, with the presence and personality to deliver the best customer service whilst meeting your business targets. You will have full accountability of the execution and development of the Liberty business plan for the brand and the achievement of all financial targets as determined in the annual financial plan.
