Assistant Merchandiser.

Our client has an opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser to join their growing business reporting directly into the Merchandiser and help drive the success of the category.

The Assistant Merchandiser will play an essential role in protecting the business from a stock position, will collaborate closely with Buying and Marketing and assist the Merchandiser on a category basis. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser to build skills and gain exposure to an exceptional brand deck.

Key Duties will Include

The Assistant Merchandiser will help develop strategies around assortment, EOS markdowns and seasonal planning supporting the Merchandiser.

The Merchandiser will work closely with Marketing to develop promotional campaigns and maximize product exposure.

Monitoring stock positions to mitigate risk to the business and take advantage of trading opportunities in tandem with the buying team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience at Merchandising Admin Assistant or Assistant Merchandiser level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills a must
