Assistant Designer / Entry-Level Designer

Our client is a fast-growing fashion supplier specialising in kids wear. With a dynamic design team and major retail customers, they pride themselves on creativity, attention to detail, and delivering products that delight their clients.

The Role:
They are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Designer to join their team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career designer who is keen to learn and gain hands-on experience in a busy, real-world fashion environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the design team in preparing garments for customer meetings and presentations.
• Produce hangers, print-ready files, and other design assets.
• Support day-to-day organisation of design workflows.
• Collaborate with merchandising and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Opportunity to gain exposure to garment tech and fitting processes over time.

Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Fashion, Textiles, or related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Focused on garment shapes and structure rather than graphics.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and hands-on.
• Interest in children’s and baby wear.
• Must be able to work in-office 5 days.
