Account Manager – Menswear.

A great opportunity to join a hugely successful supplier to volume retailers and supermarkets as an account manager on menswear.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Communicate with buyers and customers on a day-to-day basis.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships within your team and across departments.
- Manage product development and the critical path with merchants.
- Coordinate with fabric, garment tech, merchandising, and design teams to ensure on-time delivery of product development projects.
- Handle general admin duties including chasing and organising samples, taking photos of garments, and maintaining clear records of submits and approvals.
- Provide guidance to design teams to align product development with internal and customer strategies.
- Present new products to customers in collaboration with the design team.
- Knowledge to negotiate costings with customers in line with their requirements and targets.
- Represent the company’s interests to customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Ensure flexibility in working hours as required by the business.
- Travel within the UK
Skills and Qualities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to take direction and work both as part of a team and independently.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritise and multi-task.
- Experience in managing administrative tasks methodically and efficiently.
- Basic accounting skills preferred for handling expenses.
- Willingness to travel within the UK
Previous experience working with volume retailers and supermarkets preferred.
