Account Manager – Beauty (German Speaking).

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth through the management of client relationships, maximizing sales, and administrative processes to support the day-to-day requirements. You will work closely with various departments, including marketing, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to clients. The role involves both strategic planning and day-to-day management of client accounts in order to achieve long-term business success.
The role is primarily focusing on the DACH region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland) with a focus on Independent Accounts (Indies) but will also support Indies outside of DACH.
One of your key responsibilities will be managing our Shopify Plus B2B order portal. In addition to these you will be also managing processing PO’s and working collaboratively with wider teams to achieve joint business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with, retailers, distributors, beauty professionals, etc.).
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and provide excellent customer service
- Provide product data sheets according to retailer requirements
- Handle client complaints or concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly and effectively
B2B Portal Responsibility (Shopify Plus)
- Onboard and set up accounts
- Plan and set up any promotions (individual or site-wide GWP, etc.)
- Brief B2C team about when NPD should go live on portal, and provide Tester SKUs
- Coordinate maintenance and new functionalities with B2C Team
- Be the main contact for retailers processing order through the portal
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Product Development teams to source product information, launch and ship dates
- Liaise with the supply chain department to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Coordinate orders with operations teams to resolve any issues related to orders, returns, or product quality
- Liaise with the Education team to ensure generic staff will be trained on regular basis
Trade Marketing initiatives
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services or products to existing clients.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue for assigned accounts
- Capture all retailer coverage/trade marketing plans and save on SharePoint
- Source product and campaign assets from Marketing and share with retailers
- Coordinate sampling requests for activities while managing sample and tester budgets
Own organisational/Administrative processes
- Check retailer sites weekly for out of stocks and report to buyers
- Complete site audits on a regular basis, ensuring PDPs are consistent, on brand, and maximized
- Provide product data sheets according to retailer requirements
- Keep retailer contact lists and master price list up to date
- Keep all imagery folders up to date
- Collect and track retailer monthly sales data and make sure it is saved on SharePoint
- Attend store visits with Head of Sales or Field Sales Manager when required
Requirements:
- German speaking essential
- Other European languages desirable
- Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally in the cosmetics, beauty, or retail industry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Experience working in the skincare, beauty, or luxury goods industry is preferred
