The Festive Season Has Begun

The Carnaby Shopping Party

Yesterday we were lucky enough to leave work early and attend The Carnaby Street Christmas Shopping Party. This event offered 20% off in over 100 shops, bars and restaurants, with 50 DJ’s playing in stores.

The point of it all was the unveiling of Carnaby Street’s Christmas decorations, and with the help of the Fox Problem Girls and Jodie Harsh, the festive season had officially begun. Ticket holders for this event were treated to trend talks from Grazia’s Andrea Buttolf, free hair styling and make overs and even freebies which included a Kingly Court bag, snacks from Urban Fruit and a few cocktails. The party consisted of fashionistas looking to win some freebies worth £200, tourists and the unsuspecting commuter trying to battle their way home through the crowds.

However, while this event was held in the middle of November it got us thinking about Christmas gifts, and with an amazing array of stores and boutiques, Carnaby Street offered us a lot of inspiration.
