Emporium Melbourne opens its doors
Melbourne’s exciting newest retail space opened its doors last week, as hundreds of eager shoppers and fashionistas queued in Lonsdale Street before the Emporium Melbourne was finally unveiled to the world.
The Emporium Melbourne features a mix of Australian and International brands all under one roof: including everything from Australia’s first Uniqlo and other stores such as T2, Superdry, sass&bide, Willow, Bianca Spender, Jac+Jack and Zimmerman.
The complex will also link to the Myer Melbourne department store, as well as to David Jones via pedestrian bridges and tunnels.
When completed, the centre will be home to more than 20 Melbourne flagship stores including a 3-level Topshop. Other stores confirmed for the Emporium include Mulberry, Michael Kors, Gucci, Coach and Paul Smith.
75 years after the establishment of the Myer Emporium on Lonsdale Street, Emporium Melbourne is set to occupy its position as the city’s number one retail destination and promises to deliver a world class experience, “effortlessly integrating a fusion of fashion, culture, food and art’”.
