These are the words used to describe the new collaboration between Skype and Victoria Beckham. The Skype Collaboration Project is part of a new, innovative project from Skype, designed to highlight the link between technology and the creative industries. The Skype Conversation series will offer students, fashion fans and creative exclusive access to the innovators, experts and fashion insiders at the heart of the industry.
Their first project ‘Five Years – The Victoria Beckham Fashion Story’ sees Skype joining forces with former Spice Girl turned coveted Fashion Designer Victoria Beckham. Viewers of the documentary/interactive editorial will receive exclusive behind-the-scenes access into the fabulous fashion world of Victoria Beckham, in a way that has never been seen before.

From January, viewers will be able to see for themselves the spark that launched VB’s fashion success –from the innovation, to the collaboration, entrepreneurialism, creativity and embracing of technology. “I was a Spice Girl, married to a footballer; I was trying to do something that no one had really done before” we see Victoria tell the cameras. The audience will be able to follow Victoria herself and her team, as they go through all the fittings, designing and meetings, to experience how her business is run around the globe, evolving into the iconic fashion brand it is today.
Viewers will also be given a front row seat in the run up to Victoria Beckham’s Fall/Winter 2014 Ready-To-Wear show at New York Fashion Week, as we get to see how exactly she prepares for her anticipated catwalk shows. The audience will be given the exciting opportunity to collaborate with Victoria Beckham herself, as she holds an “In Conversation With” panel for which you can submit questions, and take away inspiration to apply to your own journey.
There will also be opportunities to interact with the likes of stylist Bay Garnett, fashion brand consultant Arieta Mujay and award-winning textile designer Suki Cheema, along with many others, via Instant messaging, Video messaging and Group video calls.
