British Fashion Awards 2013
Last night marked the hottest fashion event of the year, as the 25th annual British Fashion Awards took place at the beautiful London Coliseum. It was an evening of glamour, glitz and fabulousness as the red carpet was graced with the biggest names in fashion including the likes of Kate Moss, Evie Campbell, Donnatella Versace , Alexa Chung and Marc Jacobs.
Christopher Kane came out on top as he was presented with the Womenswear Designer of the Year award, which the British Fashion Council recognises as being “instrumental in enhancing women’s fashion”. Burberry was named the Menswear Designer of the Year, Miuccia Prada won the first International Designer of the Year award and Edie Campell took the crown from Cara Delevigne as she was named Model of the Year.
The one and only Kate Moss received the Special Recognition Award, honouring her 25-year reign at the top of the fashion world as a model, designer and an icon. Arriving with Sir Phillip Green on the red carpet, Ms Moss oozed with her usual effortless glamour, wearing a black leather dress with a fabulous cream faux-fur coat and a signature bright red lipstick.
The A-list celebs were out in full force last night, wearing only the best of British, with Rita Ora sporting Vivienne Westwood, Suki Waterhouse in Burberry and Alexa Chung opted for Stella McCartney.
