Fashion In Motion: JENNY PACKHAM

This Month CVUK were excited to receive front row seats at Jenny Packham’s ‘Fashion in Motion’ catwalk show held in the V&A’s unique Raphael Gallery. Celebrating 25 years of her work, the event was a spectacular retrospective display of garments chosen from her past and present collections.

Jenny is known for her contemporary approach to bridal and eveningwear design and styling. Worn by the likes of Blake Lively, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock and Dannii Minogue, her designs are guaranteed showstoppers that the press go mad over. Only last month our very own princess, The Duchess of Cambridge, chose Jenny Packham to design a dress that she wore to debut her newborn baby son.

With a following and reputation like this, seeing her work displayed in such a beautiful setting was unforgettable for the lucky few of us who got to go along. The Raphael gallery couldn’t have been more of a perfect backdrop; the atmosphere was laced in elegance and drama which exaggerated the style of her work even further.
