CVUK Summer Interview outfits
The sunshine has come out to play yet again and we can continue to show off our summer wardrobes – how exciting! But there is always that difficult question of what to wear for an interview on those (fingers crossed) hot summer days so CVUK have put together a few ideas to help you combat those difficult outfit decisions during the heat wave.

Tip 1. Show professionalism Companies use interviews to evaluate your professionalism amongst other things. If you learn that many employees in the company you are applying a ‘casual dress code’, stay on the conservative side. You want to communicate that you respect the interview process and are eager to land the job you’re applying for.
Tip 2. Do your homework Brand identity is at the heart of every company and your first interview impressions will help them decide whether you fit within the company’s culture and style. These first impressions are key so what you wear will help you show the client what your all about – always bare this in mind when choosing your outfit. You should research the company’s style and tailor your outfit around their core brand values but not forgetting your own personal style.
Tip 3. Cover up Although the sun is shining don’t show too much skin (particularly cleavage), Try to avoid sleeveless tops and dresses that show too much leg. Open Toes are acceptable as long as your feet are pedicured to the max.

Finally a ‘ladylike’ look from River Island, again with lightweight fabric and pastle shades give you the ultimate summer interview look.
