Introducing Laura Williams who has just been snapped up by Matthew Williamson to work as a production administrator alongside his dynamic team.

What was your first job in the industry? Working at Whistles as a Sales Consultant, but I have had Head Office work experience at Marks and Spencer and New Look.

What are you looking forward to the most? Working for Matthew Williamson is such an exciting opportunity. I’m looking forward to all of the job aspects, as I am so excited to be a part of the brand and to become part of the production team. I also can’t wait for London Fashion Week!!

How was your job hunting experience? I found it really difficult as a lot of companies do not give graduates the opportunity, unless they have over a years’ experience, but CVUK have been amazing, especially Katie! I have recommended the company to so many people!

How did CVUK help you get there? CVUK and Katie helped me the whole way. Before and after the interview I was never forgotten about, and was kept in the loop everyday about the process. I was given tips and hints for the interview and the best part about Katie helping me, was that she believed in me (even when I didn’t) and really built on my confidence
