Disney Sparkles at Harrods

In the run up to Christmas the shops are packed full of baubles hanging from dramatically high ceilings, counter-tops decorated with bows and Christmas trees lighting up every corner.

Two places that draw thousands of customers every year, just to see their lavish window displays, are Selfridges and Harrods department stores. For Christmas this year, Harrods have enlisted the help of Disney (and 10 major fashion designers) to create their window wonders.

Ten fashion designers, including Elie Saab, Missoni, Versace and Oscar de la Renta have each chosen a Disney princess to work their magic (sorry, we had to!) with. The designers each produced gowns inspired by the original princess and the designer’s own style, as well as hand-sketched images of the dresses. The ten unique pieces are now on show in the windows of Harrods in Knightsbridge.
