We went to check out River Island's new head office…

CVUK have been happily working alongside River Island for quite some time now.  In order to add to our insight as to how things are operating  there, we took a jaunt down to their new head office in Hangar Lane, West London.  The offices have recently been revamped and the guys down at River were keen to show us exactly what they had done with the place…we now have office envy.

They have really set the benchmark in terms of an exiting and aesthetically pleasing place to work.  The new decor is tres chic and very modern, definitely echoing River’s young, contemporary ethos.  The offices are now open plan, and there is a real sense of space and comfort.    

Not only is the office space something pretty special, lunch at River is amazing.  If you are a lady or man ‘what lunches’ there is a plush eatery with an impressive restaurant style menu, or if you fancy something a bit more snackish you can grab a quick panini or sarnie at their bistro cafe.  The whole area is really cool and we were loving the ambience.  In the ‘lunching’ area there are also a host of high-spec computers to catch up on some personal web browsing while you eat.  All needs are quite literally catered for.     

To add to the splendour, the crew at River have also got their very own gym, to work off all those lunches.  Ripped and trim figures are probably run of the mill around the office these days.  The gym has just about every exercise and weight machine imaginable, so there are definitely no excuses for not pumping the guns or crunching that six pack before, after or during work.   

Basically, although we love our offices right in the heart of Oxford Street, we can’t help but feel a bit jealous of their mod cons with all the frills and thrills.
